Chance Pe Dance’ is a musical film directed by Ken Ghosh and produced by Ronnie Screwvala. The movie stars the fresh pairing of Shahid Kapoor and Genelia D’Souza. ‘Chance Pe Dance’ revolves around a young struggling actor, Sameer (Shahid Kapoor), who is determined to get his big break in the film industry. Positive and confident, Sameer is convinced that his talent will surely get noticed one day.
The struggle continues, even as Sameer starts doing various odd jobs, p***ionately waiting for the D-day. Meanwhile, he meets Tina (Genelia D’Souza), who is a choreographer. A flood of problems breaks out for Sameer, just when he is promised the break that he so badly wanted. He is rendered homeless, as he doesn’t have the money to pay rent, and to make ends meet, Sameer opens a dancing school.
Life becomes an incessant, rather unfair struggle for Sameer as the director of his forthcoming venture dumps him and decides to select the hero through a talent hunt. Though Sameer is shattered and dejected, he diverts attention to his dancing school and also helps the young dancers bag a prestigious inter-school dance competition.
Tina sticks to Sameer in troubled times and encourages him to enter the talent hunt. He goes in for the competition, realizing that it’s the only way he can prove his flair for acting. Will Sameer be able to win the competition and make his mark? Or will he continue to suffer at the hands of destiny, which seems to pull him down every time he tries to rise high?
